Mission India: Rice Bag Project

I'm sure by now your student has brought home their rice bag and old you all about this school-wide offering project.  If you are still in the dark, read about it here.

I'm am so impressed and my heart is so full as I witness the generosity of my sweet little 2nd graders.  With this project only 3 days old, my students have met the challenge to help others and have collected $32.48 so far.  That means, to date, our class is sending 32 children to Bible school for 1 year!

While most Indians live on only $1 per day, they cannot afford to send their children to school, let alone a Bible school.  Just one dollar can help one child.  Watch this video to see how this opportunity changed the life of one little Indian girl and her family.

Each day I look forward to seeing how much more we have to donate, how many more children we can help, how many more will learn about the love of Christ and the salvation that is offered through Him.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Matthew 28:19-20
